Center Snapping

Supported Scenarios

Important: Center snapping requires IFC Shape Profile data to be available in the model. If the IFC Shape Profile data is missing for certain model objects, then the center snapping won't be able to detect the below mentioned scenarios. Supported IFC shape profiles are: IShape Profile, Circle Profile, CircleHollow Profile, RectangleHollow Profile, LShape Profile, UShapeProfile, CShapeProfile, CCShapeProfile, TShapeProfile.

The center snapping option detects the following scenarios

Center of a pipe

Snap to center of a pipe

Center of a rebar

Snap to center of a rebar

Center of a bolt

Snap to center of a bolt

Center of I-beam

Snap to center of an I-beam
