Adding Object Attachments

Objects can be linked to files, ToDos, and URLs by selecting the object and clicking Add attachment from the selection toolbar.

Add New ToDo

Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.
Navigate to the 3D Viewer.

Once you are inside the Viewer, select the objects that you want to add attachments to.
Once the objects are selected, the Selection Toolbar will display at the bottom of the screen.
On the toolbar, select Add object attachments.
Choose new ToDo.
The New ToDo panel will open.
Enter the required information: Title and Description.
Add the optional information, such as Priority, Type, Status and Due Date.
Assign the ToDo to a user or to a user group.
Click Save.

Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.
Navigate to the 3D Viewer.

Once you are inside the Viewer, select the objects that you want to add attachments to.
Once the objects are selected, the Selection Toolbar will display at the bottom of the screen.
On the toolbar, select Add object attachments.
Select Other attachment type.
This opens the Add Attachment Dialog, which displays the project File Explorer.
Select the file to be attached.
Click Add attachment.

Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.
Navigate to the 3D Viewer.

On the toolbar, select Add object attachments.
Select Other attachment type.
Click on the second tab in the Add Attachment Dialog.
Enter the display text.
Enter the url (format must be http:// or https://)
Click Add attachment.
