Summing Properties
Use the Sum feature to calculate properties that are not automatically summed in the Data Table.
What Properties are Automatically Summed?
Any properties that are of a specific unit of measure are automatically summed in the Data Table. You can not turn off these auto-calculations.
The Data Table auto-calculates:
A length property
A volume property
An area property
A weight property
An angle property
How to Know What is Being Summed
The easiest way to tell what properties are being automatically calculated is by looking at what is being shown in the column's Total cell or by look for the Sum icon in the column header.
To sum properties that are not being automatically summed
Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.
Navigate to the 3D Viewer.
For more information - please see Accessing the 3D Viewer.After you have loaded a model inside the Viewer, open the Data Table.
Open the Columns settings by clicking the Columns button.
5. Any property that has a numerical value that can be summed will have the Sum icon shown (in the Visible Columns section)
6. Click the Sum icon.
The button will become active.
7. Click Ok.
The property will now be summed.
