Accessing the 3D Viewer
How to Access the 3D Viewer
The 3D Viewer can be accessed directly by going to web.connect.trimble.com. If you are not signed in already you will be asked to do so before you will be taken to the projects page.
The 3D Viewer can also be opened by:
Opening your project from the Trimble Connect for Browser application
Opening a 3D model file from the Trimble Connect for Browser application
Opening a View from the Trimble Connect for Browser application
From an email notification with 3D content
Open Projects in the 3D Viewer
You can now open projects in the Trimble Connect for Browser's 3D Viewer directly from the main web application! Simply go into the desired project and from the Explorer page, click the overflow menu › View project in 3D Viewer.
To view your project in 3D
Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.
Go to the Explorer page.
Click the overflow menu in the page header.
Click View project in 3D Viewer.
The 3D Viewer will open in a new tab.
3D Mode
You can now load projects directly in the 3D Viewer (without needing to enter the project dashboard). When the 3D button is turned on - clicking on a project will take you into the 3D Viewer with the project loaded. When the 3D button is off, you will be directed to the Data Explorer page inside the project dashboard.
View 3D Files
With Trimble Connect, you can view models and point clouds in our 3D Viewer.

To view a file in the 3D Viewer
Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.
Go to the Explorer page.
Select one or more 3D files.
Note: clicking the file name will open the file in the Viewer application automatically.After you have selected your file(s) the detail panel will open on the right-side.
To view in 3D, click the View button.
Opening a View in the 3D Viewer
To open a 3D View
Open your project Trimble Connect for Browser.
Go to the Views page.
Select the 3D View that you want to open.
The detail panel will open.Click the View button located in the detail panel
The 3D Viewer application will open in a new tab.
