Linking Model Objects to Topics
Link Model Objects to a Topic
If a Topic is relevant to a particular model object or objects, you can associate the object(s) to a Topic.
In addition to View based model object linking, it is possible to save model object identifiers as references / attachments into the Topic data.
Important: When using the “Link selected” objects feature, the model object identifiers are saved into the Topic data as references / attachments. This is different from the Topic views based model object linking which is the primary way to link model objects in the BCF standard. If the intended workflow includes exchanging BCF Topics with other applications using the import & export feature or via a BCF API integration, it is recommended to use the Topic View based object linking instead.
